He has been head of Statistical Department of the London School of Economics for 10 years. He has served as editor of The Journal of the Royal Statistical Society and he has served as associated editor of Biometrika and Thechnometrics. He co-authored more than 300 publications, most of which have appeared in international peer reviewed Journals of Statistics.
