He received his Ph.D. in Economics in 2013 from the University of Parma, Italy. He is assistant professor of Statistics in Department of Economics of the University of Parma. He is co-author of several scientific works, published in international journals. His research fields are robust classification and outliers detection in big data. He is part of the programmer's team of Flexible Statistics Data Analysis (FSDA) a MATLAB toolbox for robust statistics. He has coding skills in MATLAB, R, PHP and SQL. He is an expert in business statistics and he is been working for many years as a consultant in the Banking and Retail Chains sectors with particular success in the field of development of models for financial hedges, sales forecasts, panel analysis and segmentation of customers for development of products, services and incentives.
