Luigi GROSSI

He is associate professor of Economic Statistics at the University of Padova (Italy). He obtained his PhD in Statistics at the University of Bologna and has been assistant professor at the University of Parma. He has been Visiting Student at the PennState University (USA) and Visiting Fellow at the University of Warwick (UK) and the University of Aarhus (DK). He has been Associate Fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Warwick. He has worked on many projects financed by the Italian Ministry of Education and by the European Commission about Energy Economics and Robust Statistics. He has been the Guest Editor of a special issue of Energy Economics on “Quantitative Methods for Energy Markets”. He has supervised many PhD students and post-doc students involved in the analysis of Energy Markets. He is author of several papers published on international journals such as Energy Economics, The Energy Journal, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Environmental and Ecological Statistics, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics.
