He studied Philosophy of Language at the University of Turin, focusing on natural language processing and evaluation. He currently works at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK, Trento), where he is a member of the Human Language Technology Machine Translation group. Between 2005 and 2009 he worked as teaching assistant in several Text Processing courses at the University of Bolzano and in the Master in Human Language Technology at the University of Trento. He co-authored more than 100 scientific papers on a range of topics related to computational linguistics, including machine translation, textual entailment, question answering and relation extraction.
