He is full professor of Economic Statistics in the Department of Engineering of the University of Parma. Previously he has been associate professor in Catholic University (Piacenza) and Parthenope University in Naples. He has been alumnus of Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa graduating cum laude in Philosophy. He has been graduated cum laude in Economics at the University of Modena. He has obtained the Master in Economics at the University of Warwick. He has worked on different topics of Economic Statistics: National Accounting at subregional level, distress analysis at micro and macro level, firm size distribution and stochastic models applied to the analysis of evolution of firm size.
