Silvia Salini, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Statistics (SECS-S01) in the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of the the University of Milan.She earned her Bachelor in Statistics from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy, in 1999. She took a Ph.D in Statistics at the University of Milan-Bicocca, Italy, in 2002. Most of her scientific production is about the application of data mining techniques and multivariate analysis to large datasets, especially in survey data; multivariate calibration; evaluation of services quality; modern analysis of customer satisfaction survey data, robust statistics, bayesian networks. On these topics she has publications on many international journals.
