Tommaso Proietti is Professor of Economic Statistics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, and International Fellow at Creates, Aarhus University, Denmark. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of London and has been research assistant at the University of Perugia, associate professor at the University of Udine and Sydney. His research interests are centred in the analysis of economic time series, forecasting and signal extraction in economics. He has published in several statistical and econometrics journals and he is currently editor of Statistical Methods and Applications and associate editor of the International Journal of Forecasting, Econometrics and Econometrics and Statistics.
